Day 1 - Arrival
Arrival at Keflavík International Airport. Pick up your rental car and drive to the luxury country hotel, the 4-star Hótel Grímsborgir or Hotel Rangá. Relax in the outdoor Jacuzzi.
If time allows: Explore the Reykjanes Peninsula with a stop at the famous Blue Lagoon for relaxation. You could also visit the Blue Lagoon on your departure day if time allows. Please note, entry to the lagoon must be pre-booked, we can help you!
Overnight in the 4 star Hótel Grímsborgir or Hotel Rangá for 2 nights.
Day 2 - South Coast, Seljalandsfoss, Skógarfoss Waterfall, Black Beach and Vík Village
Explore the South Coast and perhaps take a walk on the glacier, Sólheimajökull in the area where the famous Eyjafjallajökull eruption was. You will see wonderful views of the Icelandic mountains and have the opportunity stop by many amazing natural wonders like the waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, the Dyrholaey Peninsula, the black lava columns of Reynisdrangar and the black sands of the South Coast and visit the Village of Vík.
Overnight at the 4 star Hótel Grímsborgir or Hótel Rangá.
Day 3 - The Golden Circle - Gullfoss Waterfall and Geyser to Highland Base Kerlingarfjöll
Today you will explore the famous Golden Circle Area with some of the main attractions.
Take the golden circle route towards Gullfoss waterfall and Geyser and on the way back from the highland you will explore the Þinvellir National Park. The highlights today are the waterfall, Gullfoss, as well as the Geysir hot spring area in Haukadalur. Take additional stops at Kerið Volcanic Crater.
Upon arrival at the Highland Base in Kerlingafjöll, why not go relax in the geothermal Highland Baths. The baths are free of charge with your stay.
Enjoy a 3 course meal at the Highland Base Restaurant with à la carte menu.

Day 4 - Kerlingarfjöll Surrounding
Your day to explore the Kerlingarfjöll highland area. Many options available from independent hiking adventure to snowmobile guided tour or self guided tour like Hveradalir hot spring valley.
Enjoy the Highland Baths, a treasure of soothing warmth after your day exploring the area.
Enjoy a 3 course meal at the Highland Base Restaurant with à la carte menu.

Day 5 - Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site - Reykjavík City Reykjavík
Enjoy your stay in the highlands in the morning and then it is about time to head to Reykjavík City. The route will lead you through Laugarvatn village with Fontana Spa, a natural geothermal spa, with a tasting of rye bread cooked in the Geothermal Bakery at Laugarvatn Fontana. Continue to the Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site.
Drive to Reykjavik and stay there for 2 nights at a 4 star standard hotel in the centre.
Overnight in the 4 star hotel in Reykjavík for 2 nights.
Day 6 - Reykjavík
Reykjavík is an exciting modern city with lots to see and do, or if you want to relax, visit one of the many spas and swimming pools. We will send you plenty of suggestions of the "must sees" in the city as well as short day tours available such as Whale Watching.
Overnight in the 4 star hotel in Reykjavík.
Day 7 - Departure
If time allows: Enjoy Reykjavík, or explore the Reykjanes Peninsula with a stop at the famous Blue Lagoon for relaxation if time did not allow on your arrival day. You could also visit the Blue Lagoon on your arrival day if you have a morning flight home. Note, entry to the lagoon must be pre-booked, we can help you! Head to the airport about 3 hours before your flight departs. Drop the rental car off at Keflavík International Airport.
Depart for home.
